Gift cards are now part of OfficePro. You can sell a card, look one up, check its balance, and redeem it as payment on an encounter. A gift card dashboard shows every card you have issued and what is still outstanding against it.

Cards can also be cancelled or refunded when a customer changes their mind. A refund is returned to the same tender that bought the card, so the money goes back the way it came in.

Behind the scenes, a gift card sale is now held as deferred revenue and recognized when the card is actually redeemed, which keeps your revenue and your provider production figures honest.

You can now send a single email or text message to a whole group of patients at once.

Build the recipient list from patient tags, preview exactly what will go out, queue the send, and then follow delivery progress on a status screen. Visit types can now carry tags too, so patients are tagged automatically by the kind of visit they book, which makes building a list a great deal quicker.

The patient order screen has been rebuilt around three clear steps: Process, Collect, and Deliver.

Order products, order history, and delivery details now fit into one window without scrolling, and the confirmation appears quietly in the corner instead of taking up the top of the screen. An order can be switched between shipping and pickup right from the order screen, and the delivery method and status now read as badges rather than buttons.

Dosing instructions also now carry through from the patient treatment plan onto every automatically generated refill, so a refill arrives labelled the same way as the original.

Sales tax is now worked out line by line rather than by applying a single rate to the whole order.

Every product can be given a tax class of Standard, Grocery, or Exempt from the add and edit product screens. At checkout, each line is taxed using its own class and the ship-to jurisdiction, so an order that mixes taxable, grocery, and exempt items now totals correctly.

Sales tax regions, tax groups, and the rate each class receives in each jurisdiction are now managed from the administration area.

Every report now lives in a single Reports area with a consistent layout.

A side navigation panel lists the reports available to you and highlights the one you are looking at. The date range bar now appears only on reports where a date range actually applies, so point-in-time reports are no longer cluttered by a control that does nothing.
